Beijing ,August 22(XinHua) --total of 37 world records had been broken at the beijing olympic game by August 21, organizers said on friday.
Liu wenbin, deputy director of sports department of thebeijingolympic organizing commitee of the 29th olympic game(BOCOG), saidat a press conference at the main press centrethat byAugust 21. The olympic had seen 37 olympic records and 77olympicmarks shattered.
Liu said 80 delegations had made it to the metal standingsandamoung them, 50 had struck gold.
Li added 237 golds, 238 silver, 273 bronzes had been awarded.
Anti-doping is aslo going smoothly during the game,saidinternational olympic commitee spokeswomen Geselle Davies atthesame conference.
Davies announced that 4620 doping tests had been done, of which3681were urine tests and 939 were blood.
Wang Wei, excutive cive president and secretary general ofBOCOG,Said up to this Friday, 408,271 tickets for theparalympicshad been sold, with 30,418 tickets sold on Thursdayalone.
